The estate’s individual vineyards

With 52 hectares (128 acres) shared between 70 separate vineyards, Maison Jambon tends vinicultural heritage that has been shaped over several generations. Set in the heart of the Beaujolais region, the estate spreads over land in several standard bearing communes: Saint-Lager, Marchampt, Quincié and Cercié. Geographical diversity allows the wealth of the different Beaujolais terroirs to shine out through our wide range of Crus and appellations.

Plots in the great Beaujolais terroirs

Through the generations, Maison Jambon has created a vineyard with plots in many of the major Beaujolais appellations.
Brouilly holds a key role, with 14 hectares (35 acres) and plots in named vineyards including Bergeron, Briante and Les Maisons Neuves. The estate is also represented on the slopes of Côte de Brouilly, with plots at La Berthaudière, Le Chardignon, Les Fournelles and Le Pavé.
We have also made our home in other emblematic Beaujolais vineyards, including: Chiroubles (Javernand), Fleurie (Fonfotin and La Joie du Palais), Morgon (Les Côtes and Les Terrains Rouges) Moulin-à-Vent (Les Bois Combes) and Régnié (Les Bruyères).

Viticulture throughout the region

In addition to our Crus, the estate also tends 12 hectares (30 acres) of Beaujolais-Villages. The plots are in a number of communes, aspects and terroirs, allowing us to pair the right grape variety with its environment and to draw the most faithful expression from each plot. Each of our vineyards has its own personality, forged by its soil, altitude, aspect and the experience garnered over the generations on the estate.
