Maison Jambon

You’ll find our passion for Beaujolais in our Crus

The Jambon family has been handing down their vinegrowing skills and know-how through the generations since 1884. Starting out in Saint-Lager with Cru Brouilly, the estate filled out over the decades: Maison Jambon, combined with Domaine des Maisons Neuves, bought new vineyards and crafted Crus new to the estate. Today, Maison Jambon puts its seal to 7 AOP Crus in total, adding Côte de Brouilly, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent, Morgon and Régnié to the original Brouilly, bringing you precision crafted authentic owner-vinegrower-winemaker wines that are deeply anchored in Beaujolais terroir.

Family know-how

Some values are unchangeable: passion for our profession, respect for the land, a drive to create wines with true aromas and flavours bursting with true moreishness for enthusiastic sharing. Each successive generation has enhanced our estate with their vision and energy, drawing the very best from our exceptional land. It is this alliance of tradition and modernity that gives advent to elegant and sincere wines that are deeply anchored in family history.

Wines of renown

Maison Jambon was awarded its first medal in 1973. This was the first of many awards, each symbolising the recognition of both the quality and reliability of our wines every year. In addition to 7 Crus, our top of the range Haute Couture collection and 2 Beaujolais-Villages and Beaujolais Nouveau appellations, Maison Jambon also caters for lovers of rosé, sparkling and white wines with our Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Viognier.

Welcome!

The family cellar in Saint-Lager is open every day for tastings and chats set around the wines by Maison Jambon. Emmanuel and Dominique will be delighted to take you on a tasting tour of their cuvées and vintages, in the heart of Pays Beaujolais.

“It is really important for us to both respect and highlight the exceptional diversity of Beaujolais’ soils. At Domaine des Maisons Neuves, each individual vineyard tells its own story through its geological nuances, its textures and colours. There is great wealth in out wines’ personalities.”
