Maison Jambon prefers to use methods that respect the environment. By choosing natural solutions to fight disease and pests, limiting the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, Maison Jambon contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and balance in our ecosystem.

Anyone employed here is given best environmental practice in-house training, creating a shared culture that respects nature and promotes sustainability.

Respecting the ecosystem

Maison Jambon is actively involved in protecting the local ecosystem. Specifically, the estate promotes agroforestry, planting native trees and bushes alongside their vineyards to create ecological corridors and encourage biodiversity.

HVE level 3

Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification level 3 is the highest French governmental environmental certification for farming in France. It guarantees that an entire farm has pledged to preserve the ecosystems on it and to relieve pressure on the environment (soil, water and biodiversity etc.). It is set on four pillars: preservation of biodiversity, plant health product use strategy, fertilisation and irrigation management.
