The vines for this wine are under conversion to organic certification. The wine is elegant through and through. Subtle red currant, blackcurrant and sweet spice aromas fill your nose. The mouthfeel is full and built on lovely rounded tannins and beautiful tartness.

Terroir: both the southernmost and most widespread Cru spreads around the foot of Mont Brouilly and its chapel. With their fruit (peach and small red berry fruit) and sometimes mineral notes, wines from Brouilly are the perfect expression of the Gamay grape’s bouquet.
Harvest: Hand-picked to keep the bunches whole for vinification
Vinification: remains traditional with vatting lasting an average of 12 days.

Estate: We have been vinegrower-winemakers for 5 generations on the commune of Saint-Lager at the foot of famous Mont Brouilly, topped with its iconic chapel. We also craft; Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin à Vent and Régnié, not forgetting Beaujolais Villages as well as white, rosé and sparkling wines. Our estate gained the ultimate accolade in 2016 when our Chiroubles 2015 was awarded Best Gamay in the World (Meilleur Gamay du Monde). We care for the environment and craft organic red and white wine (PURE collection).
