Viognier sec
A light, luminous straw coloured robe. Floral aromas that evolve to white-fleshed and tropical fruit. The attack is more-ish and cushioned.

Vinification: hand picking keeps the bunches whole for vinification. Direct pressing after maceration on the skins for 6 hours.

Nose: floral aromas including violet that evolve to white-fleshed and tropical fruit
Palate: very expressive flavours. Some that come to the fore include orange zest, candied apricot, blossom and jasmine.
Serving suggestions: great as an aperitif, or with a starter like asparagus; as well as chicken, veal blanquette, fish, mussels, red mullet, snails, Brie or Camembert
Serving temperature: 8 – 10°C/46-50°F
Cellaring: between 2 and 4 years
Estate: We have been vinegrower-winemakers for 5 generations on the commune of Saint-Lager at the foot of famous Mont Brouilly, topped with its iconic chapel. We also craft; Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin à Vent and Régnié, not forgetting Beaujolais Villages as well as white, rosé and sparkling wines. Our estate gained the ultimate accolade in 2016 when our Chiroubles 2015 was awarded Best Gamay in the World (Meilleur Gamay du Monde). We care for the environment and craft organic red and white wine (PURE collection).
